Within Panasonic’s marketing organization, I led the design and development of CRT, PTV, LCD, and DLP products for the North American, South American, and Canadian markets. Working within a cross-functional team, we translated market intelligence and user research from multiple industries into differentiated product solutions and feature sets. Establishing a cohesive global brand presence while effectively tailoring products for diverse international markets presented both a strategic challenge and a highly rewarding opportunity.
My role encompassed end-to-end product development, including in-depth market and competitive analysis, concept creation for company-wide strategic presentations, and Class-A surface development for prototyping and injection-molded components. I directed color, material, finish, graphics, and user interface development, while also engaging and managing external design, marketing, and OEM partners to ensure alignment with product planning and production timelines. Additionally, I oversaw quality control approvals within multiple manufacturing facilities in Tijuana, maintained design standards and documentation, and ensured consistency from concept through production.
